Dustin Nirschl

Mr. Nirschl joined the Firm in June of 2019.  He has worked with the City of Irvine as a Planning Commissioner for 2 years and 8 months where he considered resolutions, ordinances, and commission business. Dustin also examined applicants at public hearings, and lead discussions. Dustin also served as a Law Clerk for Hanna Brophy for 1 year where he prepared petitions for joinder, dismissal, and costs. Mr Nirschl Appeared at and summarized depositions. He also negotiated cases in chief and lien settlements, and drafted corresponding agreements. Prepared trial and arbitration briefs. Communicated with clients to define expectations and scope of work.

 Mr. Nirschl was a Judicial Extern to the honorable Scott C Clarkson where he worked alongside chambers clerks to analyze, research and brief bankruptcy matters filed with the court. Mr. Nirschl also prepared 12(b)(6) and other various bench memoranda filings.

Meredith Jury

Meredith Jury

Judge Jury joined the Firm in July 2018. She has served over 20 years as Bankruptcy Judge presiding over thousands of bankruptcy proceedings. She has also served as a member of the United States Bankruptcy Appellate Panel for the Ninth Circuit. Prior to taking the bench she had over 21 years of experience as a litigator primarily practicing in bankruptcy. She was the first female associate and partner at Best, Best, Krieger, a professional law firm in Riverside, California. She now actively serves her community with extensive pro bono work.

Paraprofessionals

The Firm currently employs eight paraprofessionals whose duties include, but are not limited to, the following: Preparation of petitions, schedules, statement of affairs, and other documents consistent with the requirements of the United States Trustee. Under the direction and supervision of the attorney the paraprofessionals prepare and draft motions and applications and other documents, including, but not limited to, the following: Application for authorization to employ professional persons, applications for compensation of attorney, stipulations, motions for authorization to sell assets of the estate, motions to incur new debt, applications for order shortening time, amendments to schedules, notices of hearings, and any other documents which may appropriately be drafted at the paraprofessional level.
